Our goal at GW Farms is to provide healthy, well-cared-for animals while treating every customer fairly and consistently. The policies we've put in place aren't meant to make things difficult—they're here to protect our animals, our customers, and the future of our breeding program. As our farm continues to grow and improve, these policies may be updated at any time to reflect new practices or changing needs. Thank you for understanding, respecting our program, and supporting a small family farm committed to doing things the right way.
By purchasing an animal, product, egg, or service from GW Farms, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to all policies outlined herein. You further agree to abide by these policies both before and after your purchase. Failure to comply with these policies may result in the refusal of future sales or services at the sole discretion of GW Farms. Our policies are established to protect the health and welfare of our animals, ensure fairness to all customers, and maintain the integrity of our breeding program.
Live Animal Sales Policy
At GW Farms, the health and well-being of our animals is our highest priority. All animals are cared for to the best
of our ability and are represented honestly at the time of sale.
Due to the many factors outside of our control after an animal leaves our care—including transportation,
environment, feeding, stress, biosecurity, and husbandry—all live animal sales are final. No refunds, exchanges, or
guarantees are offered once an animal has left the farm.
GW Farms participates in the NPIP program where applicable and maintains strict biosecurity practices to help
reduce the risk of disease. However, no farm can guarantee that an animal will never become ill after purchase.
Sex is identified to the best of our ability when applicable but cannot be guaranteed unless specifically stated.
For the health and safety of our livestock, rabbits, poultry, and exotic animals, all sales are conducted by
appointment, and GW Farms reserves the right to refuse any sale at its discretion if doing so is believed to be in
the best interest of the animal or the farm.
Right of First Refusal
Should a Buyer become unable or unwilling to keep any live animal purchased from GW Farms, the Buyer agrees to notify GW Farms before selling, trading, gifting, or otherwise transferring ownership of the animal. GW Farms shall have the first right of refusal and will be given the opportunity to repurchase or reclaim the animal before it is offered to any third party. Any repurchase price or transfer terms shall be mutually agreed upon by both parties at that time.
By purchasing a live animal from GW Farms, the buyer acknowledges and accepts these terms.
Payment Policy
Payment in full is required at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed to in writing by GW Farms. Accepted
payment methods will be communicated at the time of sale.
Deposits may be required to reserve animals or products. Deposits are non-refundable unless GW Farms is unable
to fulfill the order. Reserved animals must be picked up within the agreed-upon timeframe or may be considered
abandoned, resulting in forfeiture of any deposits or payments made.
Layaway or installment payments may be offered on select purchases at the sole discretion of GW Farms. Failure
to complete agreed-upon payments may result in cancellation of the reservation and forfeiture of previous
payments.
The majority of our sales will take place on our website. We currently only accept cards, or- with explicit approval
from GW Farms- Cash Upon PickUp.
By purchasing from GW Farms, the buyer acknowledges and agrees to these payment terms.
Pickup & Delivery Policy
GW Farms operates by appointment only. Once an order is confirmed as ready for pickup, buyers have three (3)
calendar days to arrange and complete pickup unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
Orders not picked up within three (3) days may be considered abandoned. Any deposits or payments made will be
forfeited, and GW Farms reserves the right to resell the animal(s) or product(s) without further notice.
The buyer is solely responsible for providing safe, appropriate transportation for all purchases. GW Farms is not
responsible for illness, injury, stress, or loss occurring after an animal or product leaves our care.
Delivery is not offered unless explicitly agreed to by GW Farms prior to purchase. Shipping is not available
unless specifically stated on the individual listing or otherwise agreed to in writing.
By purchasing from GW Farms, the buyer acknowledges and agrees to these pickup and transportation terms.
